Tree of Life · impact approach

Impact begins with people — and is strengthened by responsible innovation.

Tree of Life combines direct public-benefit initiatives with responsible independent innovation, while each initiative and venture retains its own legal and financial identity.

Two complementary pathways

01

Direct public benefit

Visio Nova Mundi CIC develops proposed programmes, research and partnerships intended to address practical community and systems challenges. Delivery only follows appropriate partners, governance, safeguards and evidence.

02

Independent innovation

Founder-led ventures operate independently from Visio Nova Mundi CIC, with their own ownership, finances, intellectual property, contracts and legal responsibilities. They are not CIC programmes, and inclusion within the Tree of Life ecosystem does not create a financial or operational dependency between them and the CIC.

Human impact

What the Tree of Life initiatives are working towards

Unity House

Unity House is now represented by a council-awarded six-session pilot in South Waltham Forest, exploring health, affordable food, waste/reuse learning and community connection.

The funded pilot is a controlled learning step within September 2026–March 2027. No permanent centre or full waste hub is operating, and no outcomes are claimed in advance.

Circular Justice

Circular Justice is a discovery-stage social-innovation concept examining whether institutional material flows can be managed more circularly — reducing avoidable waste while exploring responsible opportunities for reuse, skills development, training and rehabilitation.

The concept is not yet an operating programme and no institutional partnership, savings, environmental outcome or participant benefit is claimed in advance. Its purpose at this stage is to investigate whether a safe, measurable and transferable model can be developed.

Project Clandestinus

Clandestinus is the independent Creative & Cultural Innovation branch: a mystery-publishing world designed around symbols, decoding, curiosity and active reader discovery.

It is a separate commercial and creative IP venture, not a CIC programme.

Clear separation protects the mission

Being part of Tree of Life does not transfer an independent venture’s ownership, intellectual property, finances, contracts, publishing activities, prize or reward obligations, or legal responsibilities to Visio Nova Mundi CIC. The same principle protects CIC-led work from being represented as funding or operating a separate venture.
