A clear route into collaboration
For Commissioners & Partners
Start with a question, agree a bounded piece of work and use the evidence to decide what happens next.
Discuss a commissioning enquiryWhat can VNM be commissioned to do?
These proposed engagement scopes bring together needs discovery, pilot design, proportionate evaluation and feasibility work. A discovery engagement produces a documented question, evidence gaps, constraints and a recommendation—not an automatic commitment to deliver or scale.
01 / Indicative 4–6 weeks
Community Pilot Discovery Sprint
For councils, universities, charities and community organisations defining a practical question before committing to a pilot.
Potential outputs
- Needs and problem definition
- Stakeholder and existing-service mapping
- Pilot hypothesis and operational constraints
- Safeguarding and data considerations
- Measurement framework and next-step pilot design recommendation
02 / Indicative 4–8 weeks
Pilot Evaluation & Learning Sprint
A proportionate review of how a pilot is being implemented and what its evidence can support.
Potential outputs
- Baseline definition and outcome framework
- Participant-feedback approach
- Process evaluation and implementation learning
- Cost and process mapping where appropriate
- Concise decision memo: stop, refine, extend or evaluate further
03 / Indicative 4–6 weeks
Circular Systems Feasibility Review
Explore whether a resource-flow idea is feasible before decisions about delivery or infrastructure.
Potential outputs
- Material and resource-flow discovery
- Stakeholder mapping and regulatory dependencies
- Reuse and circularity opportunities
- Operational constraints and evidence gaps
- Feasibility options and next-step decisions
Exact scope, outputs, timetable, capacity, access to evidence, responsibilities and fees or funding are agreed in writing before engagement. Durations are indicative, not availability commitments. Findings depend on the evidence and design; statistically significant outcomes are not promised.
Specialist food-safety, environmental, waste, legal and engineering advice is obtained separately where required. These packages do not provide regulated professional advice.

Read scope and status →Who contracts, and what governance applies?
A CIC engagement is scoped with Visio Nova Mundi Community Interest Company (16947678). The written agreement must identify the contracting parties, deliverables, funding, responsibilities, evidence access, safeguarding, data handling and any specialist support before work begins.
Independent founder ventures are not CIC services. Any future partnership project needs its own operator and responsibility agreements. CIC registration establishes identity, not programme outcomes.
